My Memory of JAS English Class

I want to tell you about my memories from the time I took English classes at JAS.

I was a student of it in 2011.

I am often asked if English class is fun or not.

My answer is It depends on the teacher you have.

Most of the teachers live on the Iwakuni base, but they don't stay there for a long time.

They move to different bases in several months or fewer than 2 years.

So, teachers are changed in a short time.

Our first teacher was Ms. Michelle, and she was really awesome.

She could speak three languages English, Portuguese, and Japanese.

She used to teach us about the differences between Japan and the US.

One memorable story about Ms. Michelle was that she used to be a dancer in Japan.

Back when Japan's economy was doing really well, called the bubble economy she danced at JULIANA'S TOKYO.

JULIANA'S TOKYO is a symbol of the bubble economy of Japan.

She said to us chips were awesome.

She earned a lot of money from dancing there and bought a new house in Brazil.

Several years later, she sold the house for money to give to her mother.

At that time,  as Brazil's economy was doing really well, the price of the house became triple.

So, Brazil was also under a bubble economy.
