This is a story about the JAS office I visited back in 2013. At the time, the JAS office was located about 300 meters from the food court. It was a one-story building housing several organizations. There was no toilet, so we had to walk to the food court. Sometimes it was noisy because I could hear something that sounded like a jet engine. Today, I looked at a Google Earth photo from 2012 and realized that it was the back of a hangar and a runway.

Today, I want to share the story behind the JAS's official logo. Even though JAS didn't have an official logo until 2017, they did have hand-painted signs. At that time, JAS had a few copies of it stored away. By 2012, one of these signs was on their door. Before I took over as the webmaster, JAS Iwakuni attempted to manage their website on their own.
